My favorite lesson from living with a 3-year old is that the thing they are learning, as they improve at answering questions, is not facts about the world, but how to do the question and answer activity. It's like the difference between Tractatus-era Wittgenstein and late-period Wittgenstein. Well, actually that's my second favorite lesson. My favorite lesson is that Bluey rocks.

For sure. I'd done this once in 2020 here (https://www.strangeloopcanon.com/p/toddler-vs-ai), and updated afterwards. It's very true, they learn rationalisation well before rationality.
